Anna Gát: Upcoming Play Reading, Forgiveness, Membership Discount - and other Interintellect news
More fearless conversations with friendly people.
Hello friends,
It’s been an exciting couple of weeks. While the world outside seems to be going a bit nuts, and the shouting is becoming louder, inside Interintellect — from cozy members only firesides to big public online and offline festivals — we continue to gather in friendly challenge and connection to poke at the ideas that interest us the most.
This month you’re getting a membership discount (redeem here and attend paid events for free), as well as some incredible events, as usual:
New York, Washington DC, and San Francisco in-person socials, and online salons around the clock on society and science, friendship and forgiveness; the great books and the even greater questions. More below…

The inimitable Zena Hitz was on my podcast The Hope Axis. We talked about Plato and Christ, contemplation and service, wisdom and being lost, morality and dignity, end goals and anxieties — Agnes Callard and Irina Dumitrescu — Aquinas and Hildegard of Bingen, and happiness!
Watch the video here. Head to Spotify or Apple Podcasts for the audio. Buy Zena’s beloved book Lost in Thought here.
Last weekend we had the pleasure of co-producing Matthew Gasda’s new play Doomers in Manhattan. The play revisits the turbulent days of the OpenAI leadership crisis, and deals with many issues not just around AI ethics, but also the pitfalls and responsibilities of collaborating as a team on something larger than life. Read more about Doomers in TechCrunch.
Tomorrow, I’m hosting an online salon with the wonderful and wise Derek Sivers.
Book for the event here. Become a member and attend for free here. Buy Derek’s book here.
See you all in Interintellect… 🎈
