Every day on our salon platform -- a haven from algorithmic capture and culture war polarization -- people come together via public tickets or Interintellect community membership to attend conversations about culture, technology, science, society, and the arts. Some of these salons are one-offs, some longer series. Some happen online, while others in cities around the world. Driven by curiosity, people explore big topics, build knowledge, and find lifelong friends and collaborators on Interintellect.
We believe that in the time of LLMs, real-time conversation becomes a much needed celebration of human thinking, speech, and connection. Live conversation, where everybody can participate, can also be a great way of building one’s personal speaking charisma, another human skill of increasing importance today.
And we believe in the power of the great Salon Host: all great conversations depend on this focal point, this realtime steward and curator of dialogue.
